Three years after first being crowned Champion of BEST HOT FOOD at SAVOUR Food and Wine, we have recaptured our title ! The Chronicle Herald's Best of Savour competition tabulated the votes and for 2010 our Emperors BBQ Duck won BEST IN SHOW (Hot Food)!!! We braised Oulton's Ducks, mixed the shredded meat into a house-made Chinese-style black bean barbeque sauce and served it on a scallion pancake topped with crispy shallots and a squiggle of cilantro puree.
