JENNIFER VINCENT
Jennifer joined Tempest in the capacity of Managing Director in 2020, becoming a salary employee in 2021. An entrepreneur with a keen understanding of bootstrapping, Jennifer has been able to use her formal Fine Arts training, events management experience and business development acumen to build a roadmap for Tempest’s growth.
Having previously led the Economic Development department at the City of Penticton, alongside her entrepreneurial efforts in launching & operating Cowork Penticton, Jennifer brings strategic partnerships and cross-disciplinary insights to her work. She’s enthusiastic to build a sustaining revenue source for Tempest through a robust training program that fills known gaps in the ecosystem and improves Okanagan talent opportunities. At Tempest, Jennifer has enjoyed exploring documentary filmmaking as a Producer on Smashed: Breaking the Cycle of Alcohol Use Disorder. In addition she takes creative pleasure in the technical side of theatre, operating lights for most of the productions that grace the Tempest stage. |
